Alex attained his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne, graduating with Honours. Since graduation he honed his skills at one of the best practices in country Victoria. Having grown up in Melbourne, he found himself drawn back and he soon returned to practice in a progressive dental clinic in Kew. Trading the leafy suburbs for white sands and waves, he finally found home with Dr. David Bladen at The Dental Practice.
Alex enjoying all aspects of general dentistry but has keen interests in advanced restorative care and CAD-CAM dentistry (the use of computers in creating smiles).
Alex is acutely aware that while it is important to stay abreast of the new technologies and techniques, the most important aspect of quality dentistry is to do with the patient. Developing a close relationship with the patient and understanding their individual desires is key to creating great smiles and maintaining pristine oral health.
Alex is a firm believer that if you love your job, you will never work a day in your life, and this shines through in everything he does. Alex enjoys attending continuing education courses studying advancing dental technologies as he always endeavours to provide the best possible care for all his patients.
Outside of work, he can be found frequently visiting the Yarra Valley and Goulburn Valley regions for their wineries, or celebrating Melbourne’s food culture in a laneway restaurant.
